Back to Basics (Church Life)

January 2013: This month we will study the fundamentals of church life. Stories abound about coaches from high school to the professionals who work their athletes on the simple basics of the game. Dribbling, passing and shooting for basketball; catching and carrying a football; simply running and staying upright in any sport. The idea is that if we concentrate on the basics rather than the spectacular plays, we will be successful in our sport.

With this in mind I have identified four basics for church life that we should remind ourselves and begin to apply to our Christian walk. This way we can grow in our walk during 2013 and our church can be more Christlike along the way.
